The IR MultiBallast DB Series solar panel mounting system can be used on all roof types without the need for drilling and with extremely fast installation times and no risk to the existing structure. This system is extremely simple and cost-effective, offering multiple configurations, including a 0-degree flat configuration, a 5-degree north/south configuration, and even a 5-degree east/west configuration. This mount can be installed with industrial-strength polyurethane, 9 or 15 kg (20 or 32 lb) CMU blocks (in some configurations), or both, for unprecedented versatility and extremely fast installation times with or without solar rails, similar to other solar rail mounts from other manufacturers.
The IR MultiBallast DB Series adapts to the needs of virtually any project, and its ability to support solar panels of any size makes it unique and contributes to an incredibly low cost per watt. This product meets the mechanical and connection requirements of UL 2703, has a 25-year warranty, and has been precision-engineered and tested in the George E. Boeing Department of Aeronautics wind tunnel. It withstands winds exceeding 266 km/h (165 mph) with a 3:1 safety factor, making it the most tested solar roof mount to date. This product can also be installed with an optional wind deflector (5-degree north/south configuration only), and the IR MultiBallast DB Series™ offset bottom bracket makes microinverter mounting easier.
